  • Re: How to ship a Beogram 8000.

Thanks for both answers! Found the player in Germany, pickup not possible. Will forward these tips to the guy sending it. How do I locate the holes for the transit screws? Mattias

  • How to ship a Beogram 8000.

Hi all, Gotten great help from you guys before. I wonder if anyone can tell how to best ship a Beogram 8000? One should remove the platter and the black one underneath and wrap these aside... Anything else to think of? The pickup should probably be removed aswell and sent seperatly, or perhaps this isn't needed? Hope someone can tell how to do this

  • Re: Beogram 8000 platter not spinning

Hi Peter, Thank you for the quick response! To check the soldering, if it's not visible should I try to "resolder it" meaning just heating tin.

  • Beogram 8000 platter not spinning

Hi, I have a problem with my BG8000. My father bought it a while back and recently gave it to me. First noticed the arm wouldn't go down when I pressed play. Anyways my father took the player to a guy he knows who fixed the problem (took him two hours...). When I got it back back I couldn't try it out with a stereo but I could hear it play listening
