Thanks for this message of hope Craig. I was staggered but excited to actually see response to my plea. Deep down it was the reception I had hoped for; but your comment 'I have just about given up hope of fixing' is disconcerting for a new owner of a not new model. It is still early days in my 'getting to know' the new bit of equipment

Brand new owner in the Preston , Lancashire - Red Rose County - part of Beoland, though long in tooth! suckered by belief that nothing could be wrong with such a 'quality' item. Needs a counterweight for the tone arm would you believe? Can anyone out there help please?
