I've been looking for beomaster 5000 and 5500's as you suggested - and to be honest, i really do value the aesthetics more than i realized - so I think I've set my heart on finding one of those.     Hi Chris Thanks for responding to my questions - i appreciate having someone offer some advice! I hadn't really thought about trying to use all B&O items - I've been so excited to finally get my hands on a turntable, that i haven't even thought that much about putting together an entrie system. I think I'll try to track down a Beomaster

    hi Chris!! thanks for the scoop on setting up the tracking force! I've got my fingers crossed that the cartridge it came with will work for the time being anyways. i'm looking at setting up a system from scratch. i'd like to get the turntable up and running for now, and will then look at upgrading when i graduate from school in the spring

    hello - my friend just gave me an old beogram rx2. this is my first turntable, and i'm excited to use it!! but i'm wondering about a couple of things. I'm quite certain I need a pre-amp, and I'm wondering where I should be connecting the ground cable from the rx2 - Will it attach to the preamp or elsewhere? Also - i'm wondering if
