i dont have a dvd player at the mo, i play my movies on pc. will look into getting one soon but i think that dvd will work fine. think i need to get a new tv instead. shame tho its not a bad tv

the xbox lead has the normal games console scart end, the 3 plugs that go into the small scart adapter or scart converter (didnt know it was called that) i have freeview in and works fine. xbox is still the same if freeview is there or not. it has to be a setting on tv i cant find or tv just wont suport 60hz games. my guess it doesnt support it. i have

hi Graham i have tried plugging it into av1 & av2 on the back of tv as it doesnt have the other red, yellow and white plugs. i also have 2 leads for xbox both ones supplied with xbox. one is the standard scart and the other is the newer scart with hd plugs aswell as normal scart plugs. both have the same prob :(

i have tried to mess around with settings on tv but cannot work it out at all. i havent got an owners manual and as far as i can see you have to pay to get one. i dont realy want to pay for one if in the end it wont support anything but pal. im normaly quite clued up on how to work a remote but this one beats me.

the game will only run on 60hz so i guess tv only supports 50hz. just thought it strange xbox starts up with day glo orange on the menu screen. so has some form of colour. many years ago i had an ntsc dreamcast and had to get a converter to play it on the tv i had at the time as it was a pal tv. without it the dreamcast would only have black and white

hi all i have just been given a bang&olufsen beovision lx5500, i have no manual with it but when i press AV nothing happens but it finds xbox on V.TAPE but it plays in black&white or very bright orange to purple. does this model tv support pal 60hz or just 50. i thought it would not show any colour at all if it didnt support 60hz. i know its
