I dont think it has do with the focus offset. Today I took a look at the Beocenter again and I messured the current to the cd motor. -7,4V, which means that the cd spins the wrong way? Am I on to anything now?:)

  • Re: Beocenter 8000 cd-problem

I am working at home, but I have opportunity to do more advanced mesuring and component checks elsewhere. I found that two 10ohms resistors where out of specs, one of them was blown(burned). After reading around on this forum I found that this resistors worked as fuse for a transistorpair. I tested the two transistors and found that one in fact was

  • Beocenter 8000 cd-problem

I hava a beocenter 8000 with a non-working cd-player. After a look around the forum I changed a couple of resistors and a transistor that messured out of range. Now the CD spins up and keeps spining at a speed near light:), after 3-4seconds the lid opens. Before doing any "repairs" the cd did maybe move for 3/4 of a round. Anybody who have

I have a Beocenter 8000 with the same problem. Changed both resistors and a transistor that messured out of range. Now the CD spins up and keeps spining at a speed near light:), after 3-4seconds the lid opens. Before doing any "repairs" the cd did maybe move for 3/4 of a round. Anybody who have a clue?
