Thank you, I'll give cleaning the mechanism a try and lubricate with a very small amount of vasaline on a Q-tip if needed.

I am preparing to overhaul my BeoCenter 9500. The doors over the CD and Tape are very sluggish. I read through the service manual and saw a multitude of recommended lubricants (all in foreign language). Can anyone recommend lubricants (available in USA) that I can use to lubricate the door mechanisms, tape deck, CD etc.? Thank you.
