I did do that and I figured that's all that should be necessary but neither of my headsets gets all that much louder even at maximum volume. It sounds like it is muted at least partially. Any other thought? Thanks for the reply regardless. Bill.

Is there a way to change the ear piece volume? Mine seems too quiet and I haven't found a way to change it. Thanks.

Hi, I have had this unit for several years and it actually has been apart in my basement for the past two. Questions: do I have to have an oscilloscope/signal generator to fix this? Does anyone have any advice on what typically fails, how this amp functions, what to look for, what to avoid, what specifically not to do, etc. Any help would be great and

Hi, I recently joined this forum too. There is an adapter currently on ebay. I'm not sure that it is what you're looking for though. I have one just like it that is brand new that came in a cartridge kit. They are rare so I'd need to get something for it but not sure how much. Let me know if you're interested.
