I had experience to replace the cd laser module which is philips vam1250 . The playing sequence is like this ,first it senses the cd in location this is done by the senser in control board not the laser head and then read cd, if gets echo light from cd the motor start to spin otherwise you get pause or spin count clockwise. thank you first. I cleared the LID motor sensor it works ok now. But finger protection is still not working. I am going to check TX/RX circut. and go through the adjustment of finger protection .

! have the problem of the glass door opened whenever cd is being played or in radio mode. After 5 seconds it opens automaticly even if I pressed load key to close it. Anyone has experience about it or this may caused by finger protection malfunction.? pengxy
