  • Connecting Beogram RX to BeoMaster 4500

    I just bought a Beogram RX inexpensively, but didn't realize that the RCA plugs on the unit were the originals and of course don't connect to my BeoMaster 4500. I found an adapter but the adapter has only 3 pins, not 7 - no sound. I switched the rca inputs to make sure I just didn't have them confused - no sound. Is there a proper adapter

    Horray! You were right! Apparently the extra speakers have to be plugged into the bottom plugs on the BeoMaster. That did it. Thanks soo much.

    I am lucky enough to have inherited a B & O BeoSystem 4500 (alas, without the turntable). I also have the full MCL passive x-tra speakers kit, and two extra passive speakers. I began set up over the weekend, and when I tested the connections (from the relay box a blue cable is attached which ends in six bare wires, which I attached to a short cable
