Thank you Medogsfat for your rapid reply . I did have the cartridge replaced about three years ago . I rarely use the record player and just noticed the problem as I was about to embark on another project of transferring my vinyl's to my pc . How do I check the DIN plug electronically or just simply replace it ? Visually it seems fine . Connecting
