My brother has an Optima set up in his bedroom . It's quite good but the picture seems very dark when it goes 3d. Overall I'd be inclined to get a demo before buying or go the normal tv route myself.

They need to stick to Apple like a limpet. The massive success of the BS8 should be proof enough of that to the ceo and board.

Having seen the 10 in the flesh i have to say it looks MUCH better than on the printed page / internet. Stunning bit of kit.

I was at my local dealer this morning ( Knightsbridge ) & they told me that there will be 3 x 3d bno tv's out July / August this year , the bv 7 is the one to look out for he said. Got a demo of the 7/40 & the stunning 7/55 The 55 is simply a masterpiece imo. Imagine THAT in 3d !!!

My Avant from Feb 2003 is still going strong in the front room , while in other rooms I've had several Sony's , Philips etc that have come and gone in the meanwhile. This TV really is a stunning piece of equiopment even now , the only thing that lets it down are the connections . No Hdmi's .. I'd love to be able to connect an Apple tv

A lot of us have said for YEARS that bno should embrace Apple rather than trying to fight them. The success of this product seems to have proven us right. Next add Airplay ! ( or save that for mk2 ?? )

Bno seem to have ground to a halt recently and the board is just mirroring it , I guess. Where's the new TV's ??

just buy a projector with a motorised screen i bought one recently , an optoma 3d , very discreet , quiet and amazing quality plus when you turn it all off it disappears relatively cheap too , probably quarter the price of a bv7
