I'd like to see the surround sound module in all the TV's updated to be able to decode DTS HD Master Audio, and Dolby True HD; quite why this has not been implemented yet is a mystery to me... John.... (waiting patiently for the 8-40 to be updated thus...)
I must confess that although I like the thought of all B&O being made in Struer , the reality has long been that large parts of the products have been bought in and only the final assembly has been in Denmark. All TVs have long been made from Far Eastern parts, much of the electronics are assembled in China, and very
I have listened to this dock for hours, from ipad, iPhone, nano, and touch. Have auditioned it probably 30 times, plus hosted a party for apple employees. The measurements support the superiority of this technology as regards contrast ratios etc. Indeed, for premium priced TV's, doubling no doubt as Home Cinema displays in the larger sizes, IMHO all B&O sets should have as a minimum the latest
I have to say the BL9's never fail to impress me and I moved from a system costing nearly 3x more. The quality of sound does vary depending on the age of the source material.Older stuff sounds slightly 'thinner' with more noise but take a current recording or remastered cd and this setup is just superb
3 HDMI
Well yes... But an update to LED backlighting wouldn't go astray either..... Regards John....
In what aspect(s) do the LED LCD panels excel? What should I look for when comparing the BV-8 vs. a newer technology panel. Is it a subtle difference or is it very noticeable (once you know what you're looking for). I was watching a World Cup game on the BV-8 a week or so back, and I thought it had very crisp picture
