Hi Eugene, About the woodwork: what Soren says probably works good but what usually is advised here is Danish Oil: it will give a finish just like the original on the loudspeakers wood. Some like to use beeswax. There are some threads around on wood restoration, give it a search! Good luck with the refoam!

I think you should get those pentas recapped and readjusted! I remember seeing pictures here of a near exploded penta amp power supply that had a buzz and the owner had just kept using it. Your buzz and the pop when you use the light might indicate a PSU running on its last bit of legs. Maybe Dillen can supply a capacitor kit? A recap will improve sound

You mean Queen B..ch? That is an awesome one, that riff is great. I like the guitars on Ziggy Stardust too! Space Oddity made the biggest impression on me though. If you are into Bowie, check out 'the life aquatic studio sessions' by Seu Jorge, beautiful Bowie renditions in portugese, I think. Even Bowie himself likes them! The movie is great

There is some info on this, I asked it a while ago, check this thread: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/35662.aspx There's a lot more, check the search function for rosewood. First remove fat with white spirit or something like that, then sanding with 1000 grit paper, then apply rustins Danish oil, it works wonders. If you have to sand deep to
