Yes most of the times it's right there, but some have a seperate small white sticker to indicate the sotware version. I think this is the case when the software version was upgraded some time after the unit was bought.

I have a BeoSound 3 which is great fun and easy to use, but as we all know it lacks link connections. Has anyone tried to hook up a small range FM transmitter to their audio master AUX, (in my case BeoSound 9000)?
