  • Avant Decoder input

I've tried setting up my mum's Avant so that the AV input connects to her digital terrestrial decoder, and the Decoder input connects to her DVD player. However, when I view a DVD through the Decoder input, there is a faint flickering of colours, mainly red and green. This is only noticeable...

  • Is there an Avant near Malvern?

My TV died just before Christmas, and is likely to be beyond economic repair. I'm very tempted by the idea of a second-hand Avant, but I hate the idea of buying without having seen one, and talked with an owner who isn't trying to sell me one! Would anyone on this list happen to live near Malvern...

  • HELP! ''Not turning on from Standby' issues with my Beovision LX2500 - any advice?

My beloved B&O tv decided to switch itself off this morning and now refuses to switch back on again. It comes off standby for about half a second, whilst making a slight buzzing noise, and the red light momentarily goes off, but then it switches itself onto standby again. Anyone have any idea as...

Hello Can anybody help with this problem? Without any warning our much loved and carefully polished LX6000 has decided to stay in standby and no amount of button pressing on the remote will switch it on. The standby LED goes from red to green for a short time and then goes back to red each time the remote...

  • BeoSystem 3/BeoVision 4-50: long power-up time?

HI all~~ The local B&O dealer just finished installing my BS3/BV4-50 system. Love it, love it, love it. However, one thing I have noticed compared to my other Avant set-up, is how long it takes to power-up the system. For example, when I press TV on the Beo4 remote, it takes about 20+ seconds from...

  • BeoVision 7 with 1.920 x 1.080 resolution ?

I would like to buy a BeoVision 7 but the following doubt come across my mind; It would be possible in the future to upgrade the tv resolution to a full HD (1.920 x 1.080), from the current resolution HD Ready (1366 x 768 ). Thanks.
