  • Beogram 1202 Belt sourcing.. and general advice needed

Hi everyone, Just bought a 1202 for what I'm hoping is a bargain £17 off ebay. I'll tell you what I'm seeing on it, and maybe then you guys can help. I haven't bought the adaptor lead to plug it into some aux inputs on an amp yet, as I've just got the tt today, so not sure if...

  • Re: Beogram RX 5773 - Bad transformer

Thanks for the quick responses. I inherited this TT and it looks like a drink (probably a beer) was spilled on it. I am looking for the voltage so that i can try it before spending money on it, if it works and the cartridge is good then i will definitely spend some dough on a beo transformer. I doubt...

  • Advice needed: Suitable components for a Beogram 7000

Dear Beo-Experts, I have recently bought a Beogram 7000 and I am trying to find a suitable amplifier to connect it to my speakers. Upon looking for information in this forum I realised that it might take more than just a Beomaster to get the system up and running. My questions: 1. Which Beomaster can...

  • Beogram 4000: worth it? You bet!

Hello everyone, I am about to buy this thing here: I've already asked Martin, but I'd like your opinions too, especially since I can't see it "in the flesh". It is sold non-working of course. The arm carriage looks askew... The owner assures me it was in his family, he just inherited...

  • Connecting Beogram RX to BeoMaster 4500

I just bought a Beogram RX inexpensively, but didn't realize that the RCA plugs on the unit were the originals and of course don't connect to my BeoMaster 4500. I found an adapter but the adapter has only 3 pins, not 7 - no sound. I switched the rca inputs to make sure I just didn't have...

  • Re: SP12 Cartridge

Hi Frede, I am taking delivery shortly of a Beomaster 900RG which features, according to this erudite website (Beowrold) a Beogram 1000 with an ST/L 15 tonearm. Hence my original line of inquiry. There is available some original B&O SP12 cartridges so thought might invest in one of these. Seems you...

  • Re: Right/Left colors Beogram 1800

Ha! That's right! Actually, should the right channel be on the listener's right when listening, facing the source, or is it a reference from the location of the source, which would put the "right" channel on the listener's left? I'd like to find a difinitive reference for THAT...

  • Re: Right/Left colors Beogram 1800

My owner's manual says L for left and R for right, yet my grey and black RCA plugs only say "JAPAN" on them - no L or R. The schematic on page 1-2 of my service manual shows a DIN connector, not RCAs. I never figured out which was left or right and never bought a test record to help figure...
