  • Beogram 1700 some tonearm (height) placement isues

Hello, I've been searching the internet for quite some while now for my issues. I have found my issue twice, both times unanswered. So perhaps its an easy solution, or an impossible one. I recently purchased a beogram 1700 in not too great condition, I more or less rescued it from the bin. But all...

  • BeoGram 2000 problem

Firstly, hello everyone! I was just given a BeoGram 2000 that had been sat in its box in a workshop for about 14 years, in really excellent condition, manuals and the lot, I was given it in good faith and told it was fully working when it was put in the cupboard, however there seems to be an issue with...

  • Beogram 6500 tone arm lowers 1-2mm too soon

Using full automatic the tone arm my Beogram 6500 lowers itself a 1-2mm too soon. The needle barely touches the record and the slips off on to the platter. It happens for 33rpm, 12" LPs as well 45rpm 7" singles. When I use it manually the tone arm rises correctly at the end of a record and...

  • Beogram 4500 tonearm adjustment

Hello All, This is my first post. I have been able to resolve my other issues by reading other threads and haven't given much advice due to my lack of experience. I thought I did a pretty good search for this topic but haven't found specifics. If there is one already, please point me to it. So...

  • Re: SP12 Cartridge

Hi Frede, I am taking delivery shortly of a Beomaster 900RG which features, according to this erudite website (Beowrold) a Beogram 1000 with an ST/L 15 tonearm. Hence my original line of inquiry. There is available some original B&O SP12 cartridges so thought might invest in one of these. Seems you...

  • Re: Beogram RX 2 Help

Next, I proceeded to clean the open switch in the near-right quadrant... Same process as above. Clean the open side first: Flipping this switch to the opposite position is accomplished by lightly pushing the white lever as shown - again, using very light fingertip pressure. Next rotate the aluminum platter...

  • Re: Beogram RX 2 Help

Using acetone (the wife's nail polish remover) and a fine-tip paint brush, I began cleaning the switch in the far-left quadrant of the turntable: The switch: Cleaning first open side contacts with acetone and brush: Flipping switch to opposite position accomplished by pushing as shown with very light...
