    Graeme:
Andy can you not swap your 7000 for a VCR and tape corrie?

    Graeme,
I have two VX7000s, a Kikinoko hard disc DVD recorder and a Sky+ box which is 96% full.
I am seven episodes of Corrie behind, three episodes of Eastenders and two of The Bill.
If I don't catch up a bit, my Sky+ box will start deleting some of the older stuff.
BTW, bit disappointed you didn't spot my number plate! SurpriseTake into account
    1--- I'm a driving instructor
    2--- My surname is Tulloch.

Re: Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to Beoworld I go! Photo's by Andy T.

We decided that as I was stopping over night, it would probably be a good idea to undo all the bubblewrap tomorrow and take a couple of presentation photo's in the morning.
Lee had been kind enough to book me into "The Pier" hotel (Bless him, as if he doesn't have enough to do!) and as he had an appointment, I went to the hotel and Lee invited me to his home later in the evening.
This was the view from the front door of the hotel.
See the dome in the distance............

    Poor me, never win owt!

I think PA55 TUL is brilliant!  Says everything it needs to.

Did nobody wonder why my forum name is 9 LEE and not just Lee? Whistle

Anyway - here's a link if anyone is interested in the E60 !  They're lovely cars, and i'm really pleased with mine.  A little over 10 years ago i was driving one of these things below after learning just how hard it is running your own business!

Sorry, I was just watching "Jekyll" from about 4 weeks back. What's the point of having a lovely Avant if you can't use it?
Anyway, whilst walking round Eastbourne, I couldn't help but notice that it was a crazy mixed up place. Some parts were beautiful like the floral gardens along the seafront then just around the corner one would find a sight like thisIck!
Yes they are a big pile of wheelie bins

Now, I don't know if it's something to do with the Beovirus, but something inside always draws you to the nearest B&O store and the sign seems to hit you in the face!

Nothing outstanding about this store, but they did have some nice blue 9s in the window. Sorry the shutters spoil the photo.

Re: Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to Beoworld I go! Photo's by Andy T.

Before I knew it it was 8.00 and I had a quick clean up and changed into jeans.
I took a taxi to Lee's house and arrived at exactly 8.30, the time we had pre-arranged. Lee made me very welcome as I kicked off my shoes and followed him into his dining room. This is where his Mac was and we had a beer or two in there while we looked at the Beoworld forum.
Out of courtesy to Lee, I took no photo's in his house but I did get a look at the fabled Pink Avant which his daughter has in her room!
Well, over the course of the evening we consumed a reasonable ammount of wine and beer provided by my host then I provided pizza which we ordred online, a first for me. We shared each others life stories, debated the meaning of life, talked about you lot and I think we would have moved on to "Who made God?" if we hadn't noticed that it was 2.30 in the morning!!|
Needless to say, we sent for a taxi and arranged to meet somewhere at sometime in the morning (Goodness only knows where and when)
I went back to the hotel and flopped onto the bed.

    Poor me, never win owt!

Re: Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to Beoworld I go! Photo's by Andy T.

Thanks for that Peter JYes - thumbs up

Next thing I knew a loud crack of thunder jolted me into an upright position.
I looked at my Serene, six o'clock on the dot! Oh my goodness, I was still in my clothes and my gob tasted like the bottom of a budgie cage. I had never done that before, gone to sleep dressed and without cleaning my teeth.
I stood up and then it hit me Ick!Ick!
I dashed to the loo but didn't know wheter to sit on it or stick my head down it! I hadn't felt this sick for a long time, worse than Struer but at least my epiglottis wasn't blocking my whasm.
Reality soon dawned on me. I had arranged to meet Lee and take pretty presentation photo's with big beaming smiles but I felt like death warmed up.
The next four hours were spent three minutes dozing on the bed then ten minutes in the loo and then repeated ad nauseum (clever play on words there!)

    Poor me, never win owt!
