Re: THE BEOWORLD OCTOBER 2011 PRIZE DRAW

    Wow! - nearly missed this!

Sitting here drinking coffee - YES, coffee!!!!, eating monkey nuts (please make up own joke here) and watching NUFC v Stoke. Just when I thought the evening couldn't get any better I find a sneaky prizedraw! I have to admit to being slightly concerned that NUFC are playing while the draw is on...................given my record of winning stuff in the draw!Unsure

    8th Prize - B&O Factory Tour Set + Extras

Here we have a little collectors set! When you toured the factory in Denmark as a VIP a few years ago, you got a lovely little box-set containing some mementos of the tour. In it is a pair of soft cotton gloves, a BeoCom 6000 keypad and a top cap for a BeoLab 6000 - all with an explanation of why they were in there. If you were also very lucky, you got things like B&O Mousemats, Vision to Legend books, Bottle Openers etc. Well - stay in your armchair, you don't need to fly to Denmark.. we have it all here for you in eighth this month!

    The Winner is...

Mr A. White (58twelve) from Worcester, UK

Well done, not very many people own these!

    7th Prize - Bang & Olufsen Vintage S40 Loudspeakers

These have been lurking in the BeoWorld Offices for some time.. Occasionally hooked up to our Beomaster 1900 for a demonstration of how good they sound, enjoyed, then dusted off and packed away (wrapped in blankets). So - we feel it's time someone else onjoyed them - and we think that person should be a BeoWorld Member! These units are as near to 'as new' as we have ever seen having had one meticulous owner from brand new for the last 30 years and having never been stretched or tested in any way. A classic Jacob Jensen designed product and a real favourite with classic Bang & Olufsen fans for their reliability plus their warm and accurate sound reproduction. These could be the start of your vintage collection.. heaven help you!

    The winner is...

Mr S. Weber (Silou) from Geneva, Switzerland

Enjoy these B&O classics - they could well be the start of a 'retro-beo-addiction' (we have many sufferers on BeoWorld and have regular meetings..)

    6th Prize - BeoWorld's BeoTea for One!

What a quirky little sixth prize we have for you this month! Here we have a very sought after 'Wedgewood' bone china set consisting of a teapot, a sugar bowl, a coffee mug and a cup and saucer. However, these aren't just random items - they're official Bang & Olufsen 'dealer-only' pieces, made for dealers to wow their customers with in-store sporting the Bang & Olufsen logo on the sides. We've seen the tea/coffee pots make a small fortune on ebay, so this is quite aprize if you're looking for something rare and desirable in the collectors world. Good Luck!

    The Winner is...

Mr B. Stevens (bignose) from Ilford, UK

Congratulations from all at BeoWorld. Don't forget to stick out that pinky finger!

You should mix them with some raisins. Better yet, pour some Glühwein over it.

Soren, that might honestly be. Last weekend was exhausting but at Octoberfest they are still cleaning up everything. Sometimes it is good that the restaurant you are visiting do not serve a Mass.

Think of the poor kids knocking on Punchers door, to be greeted by a man encrusted with broken monkey nut shells. They won't be back.
