I have the same fabric on my BS8 and love the colour. Moved away from the yellow grills - the yellow looks dirty after a while.

Just a quick update...

Popped in to my dealer at lunch to see the new BV10 in black. Impressed with the finish. It's definitely not glossy. Not matt either, somewhere inbetween. It's a decent finish. More like a really dark grey than solid black, but that's perhaps the lighting in the store.

Looks better in the showroom than in the photos.

Slightly confused about the Bang & Olufsen white/light grey lettering on the top of the TV though. Looks a bit snobbish to me. Would have preferred a more subtle colour. Doesn't need to be that obvious - white/light grey lettering on black is very obvious and I think you'd easily see the lettering when watching TV.

Still not 100% sure whether I'd get bored with an all-black TV after a year or so. I guess it would look superb in an all-white room!

My dealer told me my BV10 will be in his store on 25th.

Tomorrow a bricklayer will be here to prepare the wall! :|

As mentionned, it's neither glossy nor matte but more like satin brushed black anodised aluminium.

It's really better in flesh.

The new easel stand isn't the same black as the frame, it's more like dark grey anodised aluminium...it doesn't really match to me.

This is how it is supposed to look like when everything is set up. I used a paper model to check that everything was fine. 

Now I am looking forward to seeing the real BV10 there!!

unfortunately, due to a pillar that was not supposed to be there (but it is), it is impossible for me to have the ordinary bracket for the BV10. I will go for the close wall bracket by STB. Has anyone ever seen one? My dealer has just placed the order to STB. The good part is that it is even cheaper than the B&O one...

Hi Paulo, looks good. After reviewing the BV10-46 black at my local dealers, I've decided that I'll end up going for the regular/silver version as I'm not a big fan of the white Bang & Olufsen writing (on the black) and I do worry that the black may grate on me a bit in the future. Like any colour, I get bored easily - I swap around my BS8 covers once a month.

I've decided to plump for the regular/silver BV10-46 with a couple of different speaker frets - black and red.

the BV10 is now at my dealer's store and we are still waiting for the bracket from STB.

I really hope it will be here tomorrow. I cannot wait to have it mounted on my wall at my place...

I hope all goes well.  I am very much looking forward to seeing your photos when you have an opportunity to post them.  I think I may want this TV also after Christmas.

I do like the BL11 and will use it with a BV10 along with BL8000s.  All the speakers are black.  It is almost as if I had planned for a black gloss BV10.

Actually I meant from an acoustic point of view. But I am equally interested in the aestethic aspect. What about the finishing of your black Beolab 11? Is it glossy or matte?

My Beolab 11 is matte. Maybe B&O will have glossy panels as an option for BL 11. I am going to my dealer on Friday to purchase a Beo 6. I will look at the BV 10 and ask a lot of questions. Also I'm not sure what to use for rear speakers.

Paolo, I realized I didn't exactly answer your question. Beolab 11 seems to work best in a moderate sized room. I have a BL 2 in the living room.

ok, now it is official. My dealer has just received the bracket and the day after tomorrow he will be here to install everything. I really hope we won't find any other trouble on our way.
