plasma is still the best B & O product. I spent a hole day trying BeoVision BeoVision 7:55 and 10:46, and none of those TV can not perform so well as plasma. in my opinion BeoVision 4 and 9 is still the best tv
the only negative thing is that beovision 4,9 consume too much electricity

And the price!
The BV9 in Full HD is a wonderful set! Maybe the BV7 55" is better, but not better looking.

Hi beoaus,
Possibly the 3D versions, 85inch and 103. Also mentioned is the new beosystem 4 with INTEL board.
What TV beats the current BeoVision 4 picture quality in your opinion?
Regards, Robert

I viewed a Beovision 4 and a Beovision 7 55 inch version, a few mtrs away from each other. The Beovision 4 looked dull in comparision, some would say a softer picture. Try it in store. I have spoken to a few owners with a similar point of view. They would like to see a newer panel, possibly LCD/LED etc in a Beovision 4 frame to hang on a wall.
On a different note the latest Panasonic plasma 65 inch TV is impressive and beats the Beovision 4...
Good news on the Beosystem 4, wonder if it will have digital picture and audio distribution.
Beoaus.

Yes you are right and Jaguar too.
What I was trying to imply is that there is no British car brands anymore. So if German is not of Bentleyman taste he should probably go for Japanese because unfortunetely no British options are available.

Yes, today alas you are right...
but I own (and have previously owned) many older cars that were made in Britain. In Crewe and Coventry to be precise.
The only car of the modern age that I would have would be a RR Phantom. It's just such quality that I would forgive the fact that BMW actually 'own' Rolls Royce. The fact of the matter is that the Phantom is built in Goodwood, UK. The company Rolls Royce Motors Ltd may have german money behind it - but thats just about as far as it goes.
I currently have 3 vehicles in my garage that were ALL built in the UK ~ so sorry about that fella but my original german reference still stands in my opinion

The latest commercial panels available from Panasonic are:
2D:
PF20:42",50",58",and 65".
PF12:85",and 103".
3D:
VX200:85",and 103".
So there is plenty of scope for B & O to expand their Plasma range.

Less than, I reckon!
It's our own fault - we are rubbish engineers and very good at wasting Government money unfortunately!
