Re: What is your favourite B&O reciever/amplifier?

    casdave:

The one I use just about every day is my Beomaster 900M, alarm goes off and I just reach out and switch on.

Thats exactly what I do with my BM4500, just blindly try and find the go button on my Beo4, something usually pops onLaughing.

My favorite has to be my BM4500. I say this because it is the only vintage B&O I have ever heard and only with active speakers. So I have no idea what the BM's amp sounds like. Ill try my RL60.2s this weekendSmile

Still not really worked out what to do with two headphone sockets though - one front and one rear!! Laughing

You buy quad headphones and plug them in!

EDIT: Not to enforce just Pioneer, here's a Sansui QH-44:

Well found!! I note B&O never made any and indeed did not make a suitable tape player either. I would have thought that headphones probably exaggerated the defects in CD4 reproduction. I actually have a fair few CD4 and SQ records including the B&O Mahler CD4 double LP. In my view it sounds just as good in stereo!
