Well swoggle my horn - I've won summat after 47 years of trying!Smile

I'd like to thank my parents for all their support, my teachers for the fine education they offered (and I ignored), my family for putting up with me, Bacchus for his unending inspiration and finally, Medogsfat for running the competition and not including his shirt in the prize pool!

    (I do hope that's a Lamy pen and not a Lame one)Unsure

    Hurrah!!!!!!!!!!

    Medogsfat:

To make it fair I have given each correct entry a random number between 1 & the number of correct entries.

I have used a random number generator to pick a number & fittingly if not just spookily the number chosen was.... 13.... (I would have asked PDB but he's in South Africa helping build the accomodation for the English soccer team).

This obscure number generator reminds me to the story "His Master's Voice" by Stanislaw Łem.

Somebody used the white noise out of space (radio waves) as a random number generator and discovered a signal that was repeated again and again...

And quite a few scientists and military people tried to use this letter from outer space like ants discovering a dead philosopher. They knew how to make a good use out of him (as hungry ants always do ....)
