If I ask my local B&O pusher Kamilla, she will not answer.

Oddly, I thinking on BeoSound 8 every time I see her.

Beolab 5 has substance to back that form, so they are actually very beautiful in an industrial way
That Beolab ? mockup on the other hand looks like something I'd like to pee on. Hope it's not plugged in.
I'm particularly fond of this pair of hills in Finnish Lapland:

(perhaps we can get back to flashing B&O after this)

Completely agree. I've had mine for about a month now and there is a lot of substance. Nice photos BTW Mika and Søren

Verrry strange looking. It looks a lot like a larger, floorstanding version of the Beolab 7-4 to me. Perhaps this will be a 7-? product, though there is no Beolab 6 or 8, though they could avoid those middle numbers and simply go to 12...
I have to agree though, it's not terribly attractive in this picture. :)

Fake!
It's Peter Pans own design.

I have now set up my second Beolab 8000 in my bedroom, just playing fantastic after a thorough service by a technician, the "bookshelf" is almost thirty years old and has been a stand for my Fathers' Beosystem back in the 80's.

And my Beolab 8000 in my other room is still playing well, with added Beovox S35's as rear speakers for my ambio system. Have sent a MMC6000 for retipping with shibata diamond, for use on the Beogram 4000

Such a great looking system... Has always been one of my favourites. In the never ending pursuit of the best layout, I too have been playing around with an 8000 this week, moved it onto the floor now and looking for a mint condition Beogram 8000 if anyone has one in Australia I would be very interested.

Whew! I have to say I'm a bit releived. :) That design doesn't really look like it makes any sense anyway. Looks kinda like an expensive water fountain.
