9 LEE:
The staff have abandoned their cars and walked home.. brrrr
That looks pretty severe Lee, you might actually have to put on your gloves and clean some snow off the windshield
We haven't had this much snow on the south coast at this time of the year for decades, but it doesn't really stop anything from working - most people have studded tires and at least some first hand experience of driving in snow & ice. The only problem has been the continuous holidays and almost continuous snowing since before christmas, so the maintenance hasn't really ever managed haul the snow away from the city streets, they just keep plowing it to the sides. Thus, if you haven't used your car for some days, it'll be half an hour of shoveling, and parking in general gets interesting as all free spots are under piles of snow...
Today was gray and at least not quite so cold (-11°C) anymore.
