    Would iphone work in this senario.  does AE work with PC's.  What is the sound degradation like due to wireless. Is it equiv. to a fm transmitter.

    I am no expert on that, but IMHO, there is none, as it is all 1's and 0's anyway, but that does not account for any interference issues you may run into, etc... Where there can be improvement would be at A.) the file level -quality and/or B.) placing a DAC between the AE and the BM.

    I would say in concept only. I have yet to find ANY FM transmitter that was worth the packaging it came in.

     

    Some other threaders can hopefully add more techy info for you!

    On another note, sorta' back to the future... you could always jack your BM straight to your PC. I just love the AE concept though -it works beautifully!

    Bottom line, whichever route you choose, you will need the cable...

    The AE has both digital and analogue exits. .... digital if fine if you pull the sound through DAC unit. (extra cost)

    The analogue sound from AE is basically not better than a cheap ipod ..if not worse  (imo) ..
    I found the analogue sound very disappointing and not the quality I was looking for.
