    I am somewhat concerned by the fact that you have mounted a TV in what could be a steamy atmosphere. I would have thought that this could be dangerous from an electric shock point of view. Perhaps others more qualified would care to comment before we lose one of our gold members.

     

    I have a TV on a wallbracket in my bathroom for over 8 years now, never had any problem with the athmospher. (And I don not shower with only cold water). But there is good ventilation 24/7.

    If all else fails, Jay, keep the telly on the backplate and the wall where they are and move all your furnishings and stud walls to suit.Idea
