Re: Using a non B&O Panel TV in a B&O setup? Is it possible?

Thought I would let you know how I got on with the Non B&O TV.

Well I purchased a 42" Pioneer 427XD plasma screen and wall mounted it below my Beolab 3500. I followed Keiths instructions and everything works very well.

I can control the TV with the Beo4 and access DVD and Sky+ with the Beo4. I have also purchased a second Sky box which is HD just for the Pioneer TV. The picture is amazing in HD, even better than my trusty Avant dvd in the main room.

I'm thinking now that I won't bother with the new BV7 I shall keep the Pioneer plasma and put the money saved into a used BV4 or BV9 for the main room so I can have HD all round the house.

One thing that I am having problems with is the linked picture quality. My BV1 and BV6 which are linked to the Avant have always had a slightly grainy picture but I have learnt to live with it. Now the Pioneer plasma is linked up this too has the same grainy picture but it's alot more noticable. There is a signal amp behind the Avant and another in the bedroom with the BV1 but I think they are masking the problem.

    Any ideas?
