Well it's 9:30pm here and the time has cured my massive-awful-near-death-experience hangover, but you guys are just waking up over there aren't you! lol

Well well well...Ouch is all I can say......! This year I journeyed to London to watch the celebrations over the Thames at midnight.
Tried to keep up with six females on white wine over dinner , then graduated to red, then Newcastle Brown Ale (x 4 bottles), then vodka and Red Bull. Trafalgar Square had a plethora of handy ladies with beer barrels on their backs fitted with hoses for immediate top-up - awesome! Another 5/6 pints later, and back to the flat, and it was back to white wine - until 6.30am, when I'm sorry to say that I passed clean out! At 11.30am this morning I was awoken to find that the aforementioned ladies had played more than a few tricks on my sleeping body, and I was covered from head to toe in Haribo sweets and Hula Hoops... Worse still (and as you can imagine), I had an absolute motherlover of a headache, and felt very ill indeed, and so to combat this I devoured the crisps to soak up the alcohol - not a great idea, as it turns out...... I've literally just crawled into my bed 70 miles southwards after a hellish train journey, and I still feel horrendous. Glad that only happens once a year! Happy New Year to all, anyway - here's hoping that you didn't end up quite this way!
Muchos Gracias

Hi Matt, glad to hear you enjoyed your New Years Eve night. Personally I was sat at home with my mother watching TV! We shared a few bottles of dry white wine (Chablis, 2006 - a good year) and she turned in around 11pm leaving me to see the new year in by myself, accompanied by Jools Holland on BBC2! I guess things are slightly different when you reach 39 although I wouldn't recommend getting their too quickly! Have a great new year Matt, to Lee too. You sound like a great team down their in Eastbourne and I wish you both a very good 2009. You're onto a winner their Matt - believe me - so stick with it and do it your absolute best at all times! Lee will look after you I am sure and before we know it you'll be running Lifestyle AV and I am sure a chain of other shops around Europe in no time! :) All the very best to you both. Simon.
