Bv7Mk3     I am looking forward to it. We were very luck with the Beolab 9s in that we happened to visit the store at a time when they had a pair that had been on display for one month that they were selling at a 40 % discount.

Your dealer is on the moonshine! Holy cow. Surely they're losing alot of money on those discounts??

That's mental. Makes no sense. I've just bought some year-old BL9's and 'only' obtained a 20% discount. Indeed, the dealer could have sold them on eBay or to Lee, for more...!

To get a bonus fee your dealer must sell enough B&O stuff every three months. As I see it's nearly end of June.

    You lucky b@sterd.

Were you asking me what type number our new BV7 has?  I do not know. It has not yet been delivered. We placed the order a couple of weeks ago and the dealer then ordered it from Bang and Olufsen.

The total margin on a Bv7 mk3 with BL 7 is only 30% for the B&o shop... So he did only get 10% of the price...

Also Beolab, an authorised B&O store should not be able to quote a discounted price for a brand new B&O product, then place an order. This simply does not happen in the UK. You can get a small discount on an ex-demo or pre-loved product (I received 20% off year-old BL9 speakers) and might be able to negotiate a 10% discount of new products, if you order a substantial amount of product, but no more.

It's not good for B&O to hear that one store is seriously discounting new products - not new products in stock, new products they are ordering from B&O. People will want their dealer to match this deal. Indeed, if I was going to buy new now, I'd be asking why I can't get a discount on a new B&O product..

It´s just the same here in Sweden... Absolute max 10% discount on new poducts and 20% on used demos...

No, it's all done via HDMI.
