&lt;p&gt;As long as the iMac is on and the DLNA software is running the BS5E will find it and play music from it. B&amp;amp;O recommends &amp;quot;Twonky Media DLNA version 6 or better&amp;quot; on Macs, but any DLNA software should work.&lt;/p&gt;
