This works with the Beosound 5 using an Airport Express. You could also copy your music from iTunes to Beosound 5 Beomaster 5 which can play all your music with MOTS. There is also another product which is an iPhone dock.

Why do you want airplay on a BS5? The BS5 indicates that you have the Beomaster5 - so there is enough storage to get almost all of your music onto the system; try MOTS and you will find music you wouldn't have thought about using iTunes; you just need good id tags but they should exist (using iTunes);

controll that the only "problem" but with the new softwareupdate there will come an upgraded app to change titels on BS5 as you know from "remote"

Hi,

The presentation simply shows an Apple Airport Express connected to the AUX input of the Encore,so basically, it will work with anything (BeoSound or BeoVision) fitted with an audio AUX input!Even a 20-year old BeoCenter.. or a VX7000 VCR..

On the BS5, if you want to go that way, there is now a special phono-to-USB adaptor that lets you use one of the USB inputs on BeoMaster 5 as an extra -analog - AUX source.

I find the interest really limited, since you'll get poorer sound, more cables and no display at all on your BS5, just for controlling playback on your Idevice?
