I just use it to control, although it is not working very well for some reason. I do not stream as all the music on the iPad is also on the Beosound.

I did play around a little today with UPNP Songbook Lite. It has radio on it. When selecting one of the radio stations it displayed cover art for the radio station on both the iPad and the Beosound 5. I could not get any audio, but I think that is because I need to register for the radio service, which I think is free.

Did you get the Songbook radio to work on your BM5?

8player does show coverart in full res on my Bs5, but still unstable.All the features you are talking about should become avaible

with Boe6 - so it should be possible to get an Iphone App to do the same

So far, all of the apps seem to just access the BeoMaster 5 music and push it to the BeoSound 5 via the AUX function -- with low-res cover art. What I'm hoping for is an app that will truly control the BeoSound 5, using the N.MUSIC or N.RADIO function, show the full resolution cover art we normally get on the BeoSound 5, and allow MOTS to take over after the music has played. Does anyone know if this is in the works? Do any of the apps show the full resolution of the cover art?

I would love to see an iPad app that has the same interface as the BeoSound 5 and adds a search function.

Have you tried media connect?

I find it to be pretty reliable ... To control the bs5.

Streaming seems to be the difficult part of these programs

I finally got this to work the program crashed on me several times though

Are you using it to stream music from the iPad or are you just controlling the bm5 with the program?

I am using an Apple router. No speakers connected to the BM5. Speakers are connected to a BV 10 and BV 7. BM5/BS5 is connected to an Airport Express.
