Sorry, should have given complete setup. BM5 component out to BV8 AV3. AV3 set for PC and beomaster 5 selected as the PC. Couldn't use DVI as the BV8 has only 2 HDMI (AV1 and 2) and both are in use.

Have now replaced component cable with DVI (BM5) to VGA (AV3 on BV8). Rebooted BM5 and now have BM5 display on BV8. It appears from the BS5 installation guide that component doesn't work on BV8 with BM5. It says in resolution table that for BV8 that Resolution (YpbBr) is not possible.

I'm using a DVI->HDMI cable to connect my BM5 to my BV7 and the SPDF connection for sound.

The "hard part" for me was to figure out that if I choose AV2+HDMI B, there is no use to plug the SPDF cable to AV5.

New set up need some help. Have had BV8 for a while, just got BS5/BM5 and Beolab 9. Beolab 9 connected to BV8. BM5 masterlinked to BV8. All works well but can't get BM5 to display on the BV8 so I can see photos. BS5 is set up as audiomaster YES and AM option 1.
