There are three cables. The first is a DVI cable with a mini DVI plug, second is an USB cable with a mini USB plug, third is a four wire power and IR cable. Standard lengths are 4.5 m or 9 m, which includes an USB repeater. 11 m will also work.

Five metres is not that long when mounting the BS5 on the wall. No doubt the longer cables won't be cheap.

The dealer did mention that B&O have/were coming up with an adapter to link the cables together to make them longer.

I'll have to chase up the dealer.

There are 3 cables: one powerlink (looks like proprietary), one video (one connector is some form of DVI) and one USB (standard).

Length of cables that I received was around 5 meters. You can probably get longer if needed, just let them know how far you intend to install BS5 and BM5 from each other.

If you want to mount the BS5 on the wall, with cables hidden in the wall, you will need a fairly thick tube in your wall. Internal diameter of the tube is 20mm. You need that width to be able to pull the connectors of the three cables through it.

Hi,

What cables are used to connect the BS5 & BM5 together? Are they proprietary B&O cables and if so, what lengths do they come in?
