AV5 is NOT greyed out on my BV7. My BM5 is connected via HDMI. AV4 is greyed out and automatically assigned to DVD as I have the integrated DVD player. But you can change it in the service menu.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My BM5 is also connected to AV5 of my BV7-40 MKIII and assigned as PC. I think you will find this in all BS3 based systems.&lt;/p&gt;

This is because normally you can build the BS5 in the BV9. The BS3 sees it is part of the setup of a BV9 and he &amp;quot;reserves&amp;quot; the AV5 for PC.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;This is what i think of course, but i can not find any other reason.&lt;br /&gt;Can someone check if with a BV7 the AV5 is also reserved for PC ?&lt;/p&gt;

I can control my BS5 via Beo4/5 in N.MUSIC-, N.RADIO- &amp;nbsp;and PC mode from mainroom and linkrooms.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Did you assign it to BM5 and ML address 1 and HDMI in the connections menu? If this doesn`t help, try to disconnect the system - incl. BS3 - from the mains for some minutes and reconnect them with the BS3 as last device. Good luck.&lt;/p&gt;

My BV7-40 is software 5.0? and &amp;nbsp;my BM5&amp;nbsp;works great via HDMI. I can select all resolution up to full HD 1920 x 1080. So upgrading shouldn`t be necessary. The best way is to start in default mode and than via the setup menu test the other resolutions. (max resolution is 720 vertical)&lt;br /&gt;Did you change anything in the resolution setup from the BS5 when you connected a computerscreen ?&lt;br /&gt;My dealer told me DVI to hdmi works with the latest BS3 software. &lt;p&gt;Beomaster 5&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Everything in the same room. Beomaster connected with&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- DVI - VGA on Beovision7&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- spdif&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- ML&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Ethernet to switch.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Everything assigned to AV5 as pc. When choosing pc only a black screen appears. No Beosound in the setup but when i connected a computerscreen dvi-dvi I coud see the first menu. So what have I missed in Beovision setup?&lt;/p&gt;

You can use a DVI - VGA cable and assign VGA to AV5, or a DVI - HDMI cable and assign one of the four HDMI inputs to AV5. The video cable - I assume you are talking about the composite out with &amp;quot;video cable&amp;quot; is quite useless at the moment. Hope this helps.&lt;/p&gt;
