You are right, Beoconnect is very simple. It`s just for transferring music, pics, bookmarks to BM5.</p> <p>With Beoplayer you can listen to the music on your BM5 via your mac independantly from your Beolink system.</p> <p>I use Beoplayer to rip CDs on my macbook or mac mini and &nbsp;let it transfer the files at the same time to my BM5. Very simple. Insert CD, wait for titles and cover and press COPY...</p> <p>It`s also nice to listen to the BM5 music in the garden. Just take a macbook, connected wireless to BM5, to the garden and enjoy. It would be easy to install XP on my mac and then use Beoplayer but would it offer benefits not available to the very simple (I like simple) operation of the Beoconnect.
