Any other recommendations for a codec that could survive the forseeable future that would reduce the file size even more w/o compromising sonic goodness?

I have a beoMedia at present, and I am curious to know if any codec that is shared between the BeoMedia 1 and Beosound 5 that yields the smallest file size in a lossless codec. Also, as the title of the thread stated, what should I expect a WMA lossless, Beoplayer encoded CD of 71 minutes length to yield as a file size.

I'm interested in staying with a codec that is a future/conversion-facile as I can.

Thanks
