I've tried to import Chinese and French songs. BeoSound 5 now can display traditional Chinese & French, at some simplified Chinese at title catagory, but not for album and aritst name. The characters will become ?.

just a guess:

As BS5 is a windows based system it could help if you install the windows support for asian languages?!

I don't know IF this works but from the computer point of view, it sounds logical - to me ;-)

There are many languages missing. I am sure Asian languages will happen soon.

Would that be the same one that is available for DL on the B&O community site? That's OK.

I guess this product's target may not be for the asian countries? 'Cause it's a shame as it would be a lovely product to compliment my current B&O systems but yet it doesn't display the languages for my music collection.

Hi:

Does the Beosound 5 support the display and sorting of Japanese and Chinese languages?

I went thru the user guide in the B&O site and it doesn't list them there so I guess the support for them is not available for the time being? Does anybody know if there is any plan for Beosound 5 to support other languages in the future? Thanks!
