With BS 3200, BS5/BM5, it looks as if the setting with BS 3200 als audiomaster seems most robust. Once BS/BM5 was set to Audiomaster off / 0 no more system locks. Will fiddle a bit more and see if all the functionality works proper.

Thanks for your recommendation and apologize that I was not specific enough. I run Beosound 5 with Beomaster 5, so both. Will work on your recommendation and go through the combinations.

When clarified will post it.

Your description indicates you use a BS5. Do you mean a BS5 with a BM5 or do you mean a BM5 "black box" only.

I would imagine you need look at both your option settings for the Avant (V.opt 2), the BS 5 (Full Maintenance Mode, Roles, Audio Master off, A.opt 0) and BS3200 (A.opt 0).

I would download the Product Configuration Guide (latest one with BS5) and go through the combinations. I think the key irrespective of option settings is to have the Audiomaster "off" or "on" depending on what you have now.

I run a BS5 with BV7 and the PCG indicates to run Audiomaster "off" but I find I need it "On".

Hope some experienced colleague can help.

I have BS 5 with an Avant (older model but takes N.music / N.radio commands, no video), BS 3200 and now BS 5.

BS 5 works well but seems to lock BS 3200.

When I ant to operate CD on BS 3200, the system locks. If I disconnect BM5 / BS5, BS 3200 works again.

Anything I have overlooked as to how to setup BS 5 in the system ?
