For one, I am wildly guessing it can only connect to the local HD.

For 2, we had a snip of teh Beoconnect software posted. You have to drag and drop music from Itunes to the beoconnect software, that will transfer it.

For 3, the anwser I think is no.

If you are running a PC, I dont think it talks to Itunes. It will from a Mac. If you are using a PC, Beoplayer will be your library.

I checked both the Beomaster 5 and Beosound 5 manual but could find nothing about how to manage content.

Personally, I think best would be if it would behave like a BS6 and be updated through the Itunes Plug In.

I would think stability and content management are probably the areas where they are still fiddling with the software.

I would appreciate if somebody could upload the beoconnect manual for mac, that may explain a few more things.

After reading various posts and not being privileged for a live demonstration yet;

Storage: Can it only access from hard-drive? Why not my files from my NAS? How do i copy; does the BM5 show up on the network as a remote hard drive (why only 100MBit and not gigabit?) I have ~700GB and growing FLAC lossless files
Playlists: So i have a Itunes playlist; where i add music constantly - will it always be in sync with Itunes or will i need to "add" music to the BM5 as i add to my computer?
Ratings - can you rate songs - as i have so much music i constantly update the rating's to ensure that my playlists get better and better - "More of the same" is not really that good if the track is really bad
