Hello Keith !

Last saturday morning I was at my dealer place for a meeting to pick up my brand new Beo5 and make the full on line configuration with him...everything was ok during the whole process and in the final phase the configuration tool software perfectly registered my personal config file in the official B&O server and in the dealer local computer too, after what it was trying to update de beo5 processor software several times without success in that moment we both thought that simply there wasn't any firmware update available... that's why it has still the "old" 1.12a version.

Maybe next time I walk to the shop I'll carry my beo5 for another update try...

Your dealer is quite correct about the counters, it is easier to list the things it does not count. There is five pages of counters.

The "Product information" screen of my beo5 say: Software version: 1.12a

My dealer has told me that the beo5 has the usual hidden service menu, full of counters and regulation possibilities...

I suppose the access is via a key combination or something similar... Anyone?

Hi Greg,

the configuration tool version downloaded this morning by my dealer directly from B&O servers is:

BEO5ConfigTool Version: 1.00

Serializer Version: 0.35

I want to program it myself. Even with a fairly exhaustive list given to the dealer it still hasnt turned out as I would like it and is operating way below its capability

Greg,

You will not have problems and anyway when your dealer makes any configuration updates to your Beo5 it will also update the software if an update is available.
