I didn't know the 5.12 was available until I did some searching on this forum -- and found the download link!

CT 5.12 solved all issues, thanks for the tip!

in my oppinion, the audio sources are divided into generell types. For example the BS2300 and the BS2500 aren't listed either but a Bs3000 is listed. So if you choose the BS3000 the BS2300 and BS2500 will work also with this configuration.

So give it a try for the BS 5 instead of the BS 5 encore!

Actually this did not work, as BeoSound 5 is automatically connected to a video source (my BeoVision 10) in the Configuration Tool, and many remote control functions seem to go through TV. As Encore cannot actually be connected to Beovision 10, it needs to be set up as a stand-alone product. This is not possible using Beosound 5 found in the Configuration Tool. I even tried creating a new zone, without a video product, but Beosound 5 insisted on selecting a video product first.

So, I'll need to get my hands on the Encore configuration files for Beo5. If only my computer was portable, I could take it to the dealer and ask for an update, but I have a HTPC.

Thanks for the advice, in any case!

Perhaps someone here at BeoWorld can provide my Configuration Tool with the Encore-related files? Or simply enough zip the entire Configuration Tool folder, send it to me, and I can take the necessary files from there?

Anyone?

Hi everybody,

I was wondering if someone could help me:

I have the Configuration Tool 4.11, and in my Audio sources, I can find BeoSound 5 AudioMaster and BeoSound 5. There is no BeoSound 5 Encore, however.

Can the BeoSound 5 Encore be configured as BeoSound 5, or should I have the configutation files for Encore? If Encore is needed in the Configation Tool's audio sources, would it be possible for someone of you to zip the BeoSound 5 Encore configuration folder and send it to me?
