The restore function for me works as follows:

I choose edit in the setup dialogue, navigate to a button click it. The options show and hide appear. I choose hide and exit the setup dialogue.

The button isn't vivible anymore.

I enter setup mode again and select settings. I select the option retore end exit the setup dialogue.

I navigate to the button hidden before and the button is visible again.

yes i have tried thsi both ways with the standard config and dealer config

Did you change your dealer's configuration with the edit function of the setup dialog before?

Did you hide or show buttons before?

thank you for your response but this does not work, you can press the restore button and then it takes you to a yes no area, if you press yes it does not restore?

As far as I remember, the restor function resets the beo5 to the configuration loaded to it. Within the setup dialog you may hide or show buttons in your configuration. Restore simply removes your modifications.

Hi quick question, when you hold down the standby and press the centre button you are lead into setup menu, if you go into setting and click restore, then yes this just bounces back?

I thought this would wipe the dealers configuration and load all defaults?
