I am testing the file and it seem to be controlling my Beosound 8 and not the Bose. It's very strange. I could post you the remote if you like?

The link you used last time in my previous posting is the link to use. The file has exactly the same filename as before and is downloaded from the same link.

I have created a new XML file with exactly the same filename at the previous posting link where you downloaded before.

These codes look much more positive and decode to standard NEC 32 bit protocol and are much more likely to be correct.

Hi Keith, Thanks very much for creating this file. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. I will get in touch with Bose - maybe they have provided the incorrect HEX codes.

Also another question. I have a Beosound 8 and it will not work with the supported BS8 file on version 4.11 - It does however work with a Radio/ CD function on the Beosound3000 - play, pause, volume up/down etc. Is this a common fault?

Dear Mr....

Thank you for contacting BOSE®.

Unfortunately we do not have the HEX information for the CineMate systems available, however many universal remotes have a learning facility built in to them and will allow a customer to gain the necessary information from a remote in this way. The only buttons on the CineMate remote you would need to learn will be on/off, volume up, volume down and mute and the rest of the functions are used as part of its universal ability.

I remember seeing a while ago an XML file for Bose remote control. All I am wanting is Volume Up/ Down. Mute and possibly On/ Off.
