I recently (a couple of weeks ago) updated the configuration of my Beo5, using Config Tool 3.87. The software / firmware of the Beo5 is 1.43a. Prior to this update, which also upgraded the firmware, I had no problems with the Beo5.

Lately, the past few days, the Beo5 has started to act up in the way that although fully charged over night, the thing simply dies the next day without any warning to recharge the battery. This happens when simply pushing one of the Beo5's button (does not matter which one), and it is not dependant on how long or how much the Beo5 has been used that day.

There are no direct-control XML configurations on the Beo5 -- simply B&O products, and a Blu-Ray that is controlled via PUC from the TV.

Is there a way to force the Beo5 to a newer firmware, assuming version 1.43a is causing the problem? Or could my Beo5 have suddenly developed a hardware fault?

I do have access to Config Tool 4.11, but I cannot load any configuration to the Beo5 with that version. I always get a "Configuration mismatch" error when trying to upload a configuration to the Beo5, even if the new configuration is entirely built with 4.11 (and not taken from the backup of 3.87 client files).

It's sligtly irritating, when such a fundamental thing as a remote does not work properly :(
