i use the same file.

it works for my samsung UE40D6510.

i get the hardkeys to work, but not the volume buttons.

any help?

This XML file is one I have previously produced which has the hardkeys assigned including the colour buttons.

Open the file with a text editor such as Windows Notepad and you can see for yourself.

Dear Lazarus1,

There is an XML-file for a Samsung LCD in my account, try this one. It works fine with my new Samsung LCD (direct with BEO5 and -6).

Well Clearly the Pronto IR codes you found were not compatible with your Samsung unit.

You best approach is to capture the IR codes from the Original remote control, then you will know for certain that it will work.

The link does not appear to cover all the common commands, but I have created an XML file with some of them which you can download HERE. The digit hard keys are assigned and STEPUP and STEP down on the hard keys are channel up/down. Also the volume dial codes are assigned.

Please test the file remembering that only a few of the commands have been added

Important is: Power, Source(Input), Volume and player-functions(FFW, Stop, etc...)

I do not have an XML file for this model Samsung LED TV, but one could be made if you could find the IR codes.

There are really three main ways of getting these IR codes:-

Capture them from the original remote (Best way)
Find Pronto HEX codes on the web at sites like www.remotecentral.com
Some manufacturers publish the codes on their web site

So, the first task is to find the IR codes associated with this Samsung model.
