I am a newbie in the process of configurate the Beo5 (which I do not own at the present time). In my quest of the perfect universal remote control, te Beo5-6 looks to be a pretty good candidate! I need to be able to tune the config to my purpose.

So I get the configuration tool version 4.11 and try to play a little with it. My goal is to use it with a Loewe 52" (yes... a non-B&O product). HFAT was kind enough to confirm that this setup is working.

So I put his files in the folder "C:\Bang & Olufsen\Beo5 Configuration Tool\ThirdParties\Beoworld Provided Templates\For Firmware 1.40a\".

In the configuration tool, I create a zone ("Home") and try to install the Loewe TV config file. I see it in the "Others" tab, but when I try to add it to the right panel I get the following error:

"Add a product first!".

Is there something I miss? the files I use are here :

http://forum.beoworld.org/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Components.PostAttachments/00.00.31.37.59/BEO5-Product-XMLs.zip

Thanks in advance,

cheers,
