I have just downgraded to 1.42a because the new FW contains(in my view) a big error.</p> <p>Here is what happened with my Beo5.</p> <p>With FW 1.43a the LCD backlight slowly rises from dark to bright when you turn on the remote, this is the problem. In a very bright room(i have very large windows in my living room) what happens is that i use the Beo5, and the screen is dark, then the backlight slowly(3-5 seconds) rises until it is bright, and the remote buttons is readable, when the remote the turns off, and i turn on the remote again(when zapping channels) the LCD display starts on the highest brightness(and this is good) for 1 second, then dims totally and the rises again, so for about 3-5 seconds the display is not very readable.</p> <p>Has anyone notices this with the latest firmware ?
