Beo5 uses Infra Red ONLY and not RF, have a look at my answer to a similar question HERE

Not all Samsung products uses the same protocols because many of their products are OEM'ed meaning they are made by someone else.

So, if you don't have the means of capturing the codes from your Samsung remote, then I suggest you find some Pronto HEX codes on the web which could be converted.

Re: New Beo5 Remote

I'm glad that Keith can fix it all for those living in the UK. I live in Amsterdam so it won't work out for me to send all of my remotes to the UK and from there get it all working. So I was hoping to get some more help on perhaps doing it myself?

What I have read so far is that there is no RF support on the Beo5 remote. So I wonder how I'd fix the RF controlled devices/switches.

Mainly I need to get the samsung working and the lighting.

Re: New Beo5 Remote

Keith just set me up with the link to download my own! The configuration tool is fine for B&O products - to an extent - but Keith will make your Beo5 work properly. I am going to get him to do mine!

I'm new to the B&O world and just started purchasing these fabulous products of B&O. I recently bought a pair of the Beolab 3 speakers and a Beo 5 remote. I also would like to purchase the Beosound 5 after a while.

My goal is to let the Beo5 remote control my Samsung LE52B750, Playstation 3, Pioneer VSX-LX52 AV Receiver, Infrared remote controlled motorized curtainrails, Radio controlled Light dimmers and switches.(I'm not sure if RF is supported by the beo 5 regarding the PS3 and my light switches)

I have the latest Beo5 configuration tool and totally new to all of it. Does anyone have the same Samsung LE52B750 as mine and would like to help me get it working? Or does anyone know where I can download ready to use configs?

Thanks!

Kishan
